Applying the UNIVERSAL PULSE for Tai Ji Self Defense

The Universal Pulse (Universal Rhythm, Universal Breath) is the ebb and flow of Yin-Yang spontaneously manifesting as whole body spherical breathing. "...if one part moves, all parts move." This state begins to occur after many years of practice. We imitate it through making our breath (inhalation and exhalation) even. When one inhales more than one exhales or vice versa in daily life it is often indicative of a water/fire (Heart/Kidney) imbalance. Harmonizing the Breath so as to emulate the Universal Rhythm can help correct this.
